Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi is currently the Provost and CEO at Heriot-Watt University, Malaysia. Ott Velsberg is the Chief Data Officer for the Estonian government. He oversees strategic coordination of data science and data governance in the Estonian government, including domains like artificial intelligence and open data. He is also a Ph.D. researcher in the department of Informatics at Umeå University and Uppsala University. His research concentrates on the use of information systems in the public sector, with a special focus on the use of the Internet of Things (IoT).

Muhammad Ghifary leads a team in Bukalapak consisting of researchers and engineers to productionize AI services that fulfill the business needs ranging from customer experience through recommendation and search, cybersecurity, and investment solutions. Before joining Bukalapak, Muhammad Ghifary was a research scientist at Weta Digital, a digital visual effect company, to empoyer 3D animators and modellers through AI solutions, involved in several movie projects such as War for the Planet of the Apes, Deadpool 2, and Alita: Battle Angel. He holds a PhD in computer science specialized in AI.
As a head of the Centre for Human Identifications at Forensic DNA Databank Section, Saravanan monitors investigations involving cold-cases and DNA evidence. He is also involved in the managerial and administrative task that entails the supervision of Senior Police officers and members of Rank and File on a daily basis. He also establishes various SOP’s and guidelines pertaining to respective units and divisions such as Disaster Victim Identification (DVI), Bioincident Response, Investigation Team (BRITE), Missing Person Database and Cold and HIT cases. He conducts exercises, courses, workshops for officers of his division and other districts. He also conducts regular and routine audits nationwide, to ensure compliance with the work procedures. He is required to report HIT cases to INTERPOL on DNA matches involving foreigners and vice versa. He is also involved in regular and periodical training with INTERPOL, FBI, and other relevant local and international agencies.
Safura Moin leads the digital transformation and innovation at KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Malaysia’s top private healthcare provider. She is continuously enhancing the company’s digital assets and has initiated several digital projects including those on retail e-commerce and the mobile app. She believes putting patients first in the digital build for KPJ as it is vital in improving patient engagement, loyalty, and overall satisfaction. Dr. Neeta Verma is the Director General of National Informatics Centre, a Premier Science and Technology organization of the Government of India. With a career spanning over three and a half decades, she has been instrumental in implementing high impact digital initiatives across the country. In her current role as DG-NIC, she is spearheading the development of digital platforms for various initiatives of the Government of India under the ‘Digital India Program’. Under her leadership, NIC also established National Data Centers at various locations in the country and later on launched the first National Cloud for Government in 2014 to provide state-of-the-art ICT Infrastructure to Government Departments for delivery of citizen services. Dr. Shin Liang Chin currently leads data science projects for the Malaysian market. Using state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence, he has built numerous predictive models to help drive clients’ profitability. He is also a champion of transforming the payments industry into a data-driven business by helping clients to implement change management to adopt data science capabilities. He has more than ten years of experience working as a researcher at the University of Cambridge and at various technology start-ups in the U.K. He also worked in the R&D department of Tracerco where he empowered customers in the digitization of their industry and championed customers to adopt Industry 4.0. Lee Yiang Ming joined Malaysia Airports on 1 March 2019 as the Chief Information Officer. Dame Wendy Hall, DBE, FRS, FREng is Regius Professor of Computer Science, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International Engagement), and is an Executive Director of the Web Science Institute at the University of Southampton. With Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Sir Nigel Shadbolt she co-founded the Web Science Research Initiative in 2006 and is the Managing Director of the Web Science Trust, which has a global mission to support the development of research, education and thought leadership in Web Science. Alison Heppenstall is Professor of Geocomputation and an ESRC-Turing Fellow. Her current research is focused on developing and adapting ML approaches to understanding social phenomena. Mr. Yeung has extensive experience in technology development for software/hardware and semiconductor areas, investments for angel/venture capital and private equity space, corporate and business development, science park development and government affairs. During 2015–mid 2018, he was appointed as the Government Chief Information Officer (head of department, Justice of Peace) by the Hong Kong SAR Government. Mr. Yeung was responsible for formulation of policies and strategies for Hong Kong’s overall digital technology; e-government; cyber-security; development of the digital economy, particularly for information technology industries; and formulation of the blueprint for developing Hong Kong into the world’s leading smart city. He also managed the Hong Kong Cyberport and was a voting member of its Macrofund’s Investment Committee. Mr. Yeung was the Chief Corporate Development Officer of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. He was responsible for the development strategy of the science park, global partnership, incubation programmes for start-ups, nurturing technology enterprises, and establishment of the science park corporate venture fund. Mr. Yeung started his career in Silicon Valley in 1987 and had worked for several high-tech companies. In 1995, he relocated back to Hong Kong to further develop his career. He has held senior management positions in several multinational corporations; Hong Kong listed companies and private equity funds, with operations throughout Asia.
Nicholas Car is an experimental computer scientist at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, working in the areas of Semantic Web and information modelling. He leads the technical components of a number of large-scale government data integration projects such as the Location Integration Capability, Loc-I, and the Longitudinal Spine of Government Functions. These projects aim to reduce the effort required to analyse public sector information and thus improve its utility. He is also the co-chair of the Australian Government Linked Data Working Group which assists government with data exchange.

Raju is also a Member of the Singapore NCCAC (National Cloud Computing Advisory Council) & Deputy Chair of the COIR (Cloud Outage Incident Response) Group under ITSC (IT Standards Committee). He is also Hon Vice Chairman of the Cloud & Data Chapter at SGTech, previously called SiTF (Singapore IT Federation) & Hon Secretary of the Cloud Chapter of SCS (Singapore Computer Society). He was conferred as an SCS Fellow in March 2018.
