
Nicholas Car
Senior Experimental Scientist & Co-chair, Australian Government Linked Data Working Group
Nicholas Car is an experimental computer scientist at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, working in the areas of Semantic Web and information modelling. He leads the technical components of a number of large-scale government data integration projects such as the Location Integration Capability, Loc-I, and the Longitudinal Spine of Government Functions. These projects aim to reduce the effort required to analyse public sector information and thus improve its utility. He is also the co-chair of the Australian Government Linked Data Working Group which assists government with data exchange.
