Aireen Omar is the President and CEO of RedBeat Capital, overseeing Capital A's ventures strategy and fostering innovation across AirAsia's operations. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Tune Protect Group Berhad. Joining AirAsia in 2006 as Director of Corporate Finance, Aireen expanded her role to include Insurance, Treasury, Fuel Procurement, and Investor Relations. She was pivotal in AirAsia's growth and was appointed CEO in 2012. Prior to AirAsia, she worked at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and various major Malaysian financial institutions. Her accolades include the Outstanding CEO Achievement Award, inclusion in Corporate Treasurer’s 25 Most Influential Women in Treasury, and APAC CEO of the Year 2017. Under her leadership, AirAsia won Digital Transformer of the Year at the IDC Digital Transformation Awards 2019.
