Roshdi Haji Ahmad

Roshdi Hj Ahmad is a highly experienced executive with over 35 years in corporate planning, strategy, human resources, marketing, project management, and customer service. He is widely regarded as an industry veteran, particularly in operations and strategic management, with more than 27 years dedicated to the ICT and cybersecurity sectors.

For the past 18 years, he has played a pivotal role in the growth of CyberSecurity Malaysia. Since 2022, he has served as Chief Operating Officer, leading overall operations, strategic planning, organizational transformation, and key stakeholder and partner engagements.

From 2007 to 2022, he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Industry Affairs (initially as Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy), overseeing departments such as Human Capital Development, Strategy Management, Marketing, and Cyber Security Industry Engagement & Collaboration, while guiding major national projects.

Earlier roles include Manager of Multilateral & Government Engagement at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) in 2006–2007, and Business Development/Project Manager at Malaysia Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) from 2001 to 2006. His career began with positions at Malaysia Airlines, Daihatsu Malaysia, TV3/Mega TV, and AIMS Technology (1989–2001).

Roshdi holds a Master of Science in Information Management and a Bachelor’s (Hons) in Business Studies (Marketing) from UiTM, plus a Diploma in Agribusiness from UPM. He has completed leadership training at Harvard Business School and specialized cybersecurity programs in India, along with a Balanced Scorecard Bootcamp in Singapore.
